Tuscany Bike Routes
The Chianti Hills are located between the provinces of Florence, Siena and Arezzo and define the eastern border of the Chianti region with the Valdarno and the Val di Chiana. The highest peak is that of Monte San Michele, 893 meters above sea level, in the municipality of Greve in Chianti in the province of Florence. The remaining territory, mainly hilly and the municipalities of this area constitute part of the production area of the Chianti DOCG red wine.
